A new entrant in the premier wine field from a gorgeous property on the N.E. corner of the famous Ruterford District. Seamless structure with as pretty a nose as cabernets can impart. Beautiful brite ruby, an entry that rivals Orson Wells', a center as weighty as Orson and a finish that rivals "War of the Worlds". Lovely to drink now but with a firm core of soft supple tannins that'll take this lil' beauty into 2020. 93/93. 49 by the box. WW

Opened another of these yesterday with me next-door neighbor. Nose is really lovely. Filled the room with flowers, spice and loads of sweet ripe red fruits. Still some soft supple tannins to resolve but an extroardiny bottle of cab. No change in scoring. WW

Opened another of these for lunch today. Don't understand why this property hasn't received the well-deserved press this bottle deserves. This kick-patootie bottle may well end up in the exclusive classic designation. WW

BRW was coming off a sabbatical so thot it would be a nice gesture to open one of these with him along with an orphan 1994 Markham that was his epiphany wine. I swear each one is the last of the mohicans then another shows up. Both of these hummers are dead OTTOIG. Maybe the Rickster will chime in with hims 2cents worth. I've praised both so meeny times I feel like I should be on the promo payroll. WW
