Deep dark purple garnet color, lush, soft, berries, well integrated oak, sweet, soft, with a good acidity, and soft tannins. Medium finish. Pleasant but not as complete or complex as other Jordans in the past.

WW, I'm gonna have to eat my words (from a previous post) and you are right again. The more '03's that I try, the worse they get.

I tried Viader (who lost 90% of their 03's in the fire), Phelps, etc and while there was a good attempt, the wines were markedly lower in quality. In fact, side by side, the 04' regular Phelps Cab was better than the '03 insignia which was austere by comparison. Everyone I spoke to has already started talking about the '05s

BTW, first stop in Heitz for me an it was nice juice...more later.
