After about ten bottles of this over the past six months, I'm going to recommend this again. Last time, I got a whole chorus of Yecchs because I happened to mention that I found it first at Trader Joe's (a place that sells Coppola Oak Cask Cab, Caymus, and Veuve Cliquot does NOT just sell cheap wines)

If you pass this up, it's your loss. It's around $8, has definite and bold varietal characteristics - cassis, chocolate, coffee, blackberry, lanolin - and a wonderful richness and balance. Since bringing it into Esquin, I've sold nearly a hundred cases. It's as heavily decorated as Norman Schwarzkopf, at this writing, and is becoming more easily available.

Won't try a cheap Cab? Fine, more for me.

P.S.: I'm no longer at Esquin. Problems with Judye's recovery - and my own health - whittled the time I could devote to it down to the point at which I could no longer justify it. They wanted more hours from me and I couldn't give it. Selah. Apologies to any of you who tried to contact me there in the past two weeks or so.

Just as well -- Esquin lost my business. They dropped their on-line inventory/ordering system, which is all that I ever use or have time for.

Sorry to hear about the health problems you two are having, Steve. My best to you both.

I'd like to echo Shortwiner's comments. A votre sante'.
