Just posting to say that this wine is drinking really well right now. I'm no expert but in my opinion this stuff becoming much softer would be a shame. The bottles half gone and I just opened it- ah the joys of bachelorhood.

Hi WGC. I agree that the BeringerKV is drinking very well, but IMHO it still has at least 2 more years of development plus will hold for anothewr 4-5 after that. A very fine effort from the mighty Ed. winoweenie

Hi WGC I agree with you, one of my main stays in my wine cellar is beringer if you like the cab go out and do yourself a favor get there zin its one of the best zins if not the best for under 20 dollars. There are a lot of zins I would pass up that cost more than 20 for the beringer, they make some great wines.

Had a bottle of this night before last with a good steak. It was very smooth and fruity -- with a nice bouquet!
