2003 3 Blind Moose, Cabernet Sauvignon, California ($8-$9). Gift from house guest. Alcohol level: 13.5%. Consumed after house guest left. Pure, unadulterated plonk. Worst wine we've had in decades. Like weak grape juice with grain alcohol added. Methinks it is a Constellation brand spun out of Woodbridge. Was purchased for the cute name. Well, it's a cute name with naught behind it. There is a sea of quality Cab at this price point available from Argentina, Australia, South Africa, and even America that stand head and shoulder above this stuff.

Your houseguest probably hadn't even tried it.... just thought "Hey, they like wine and this one's CHEAP, so we'll get it for 'em."
