Yearly one of my favorite drinking wines. Brite ruby. Nose has high cherry and red fruit notes, spices, and some dusty tannins that need another 1-3 to resolve. Soft, supple entry, nice clear center, and a 4+ lapper finish. This upper Napa blend continues the streak of superb wines at honest pricing. 90/92 35 by the box. 13.9% alc. WW

Another last nite. This is one of the most consistantly outstanding 2nd tier wines from Napa. Nose exanding as you read. Wont get much better but realisticaslly it can't. Lovely stuff even with only 70% taste buds in order. Now I know how it feels to be the wine Bucksnorts' drinking. WW(hehehe)

Another visit to this neat bottling. Broiled a NY Strip and just sat and gorged meeslf. Not much more to say about this wine except the larder is getting kinda' bare. Will have to start on the 01s' shortly. WW

The next to last of this sucker bit the dust last nite whilst watching baskets. The red fruits jump out of the glass the minute the cork's pulled. A solid performer that needs to be in any red wine lovers stash. No change in scoring. WW

Good-Bye ole' fren! Still believe this hummer is one of the best P/Q products over the 2 decades of the 80s and 90s. A final score of 91. Lovely, balanced, intensely satisying bottle of juice. No matter how much I buy it never seems to be adequate. WW
