Deep garnet color with an almost opaque center. Opens up beautifully after about an hour. Nose of plum, cherry, and vanilla combine with a healthy dose of tar on the palate that is powerful, but not overwhelming. Elegantly full-bodied with supple tannins and a long finish.

Picked up a few for $25/per at the winery in Napa earlier this year; wish we'd picked up more! FWIW, WS gives it an 88; I'd say it's an easy 91+.

Hey there Radskie Ole Bean, Stopped in F.A. and tried their 97 Napa. Quite a jug. Bodes well for the 97 Bosche and Sycamore. I`m reviewing the Fresno State Barbera in proper thread. winoweenie
