Boy is this baby developing quickly. Brite ruby, with red,red cherry fruits jumoin` from the glass. Lots af spicy nuances including something that reminded me of Cardamon.Beautiful entry and a full center palate that lead to a long finish. This wine has improved 100% since I tasted it last year. Tannins are soft, round and unobtrusive, but strong enough to carry this for another 3-5 years. Hope the 98 they`re touting be this MMMMM-Good. winoweenie

Curious as to what you pay for this wine in your parts.

Kathy, I paid 24.29 less 10% case discount. WW

Well let me tell you. By the time the stuff hit the East Coast down here in Virginia, it was marked-up to $39.80 a bottle........

I bought ONE becuase it sounded like it might be worth tasting. But I complained about the price all the way out the door...... The wine guru there said, "Well sir, demand has gone up and we don't get that much allocated to us......!!"

Drew, don't say a thing. Now you KNOW why I complain all the time about not getting the good stuff here. Sure we get it, but not at a very good value.

You're right Mike, I paid $26 here in crab town.
