I am going to a wine tasting party where the featured wine will be chardonnay. What would be a good appetizer to go with this?

Some buttery spread cheese on crackers.

Crabmeat dip and French bread or sour dough bread. I like the first suggestion from Innkeeper also.

The guys are trying to say that most Chardonnay and oaky, buttery messes. There are some unoaked Chards that offer delight. Try NZ offerings, as well as Toad Hollow for the US.
