- newbieboutwine - 12-25-2003 My doctor told me to "try a little wine" for my stomach..Since I don't really drink, I am at a loss as to which wines to buy. I think I like red, dry and sweet, but don't have the money to try a bunch of wines I'm not going to like and end up pouring them down the drain....Any help or suggestions would be greatly apprecated! - Innkeeper - 12-26-2003 Hi New, and welcome to the Wine Board. There is a modicum of evidence that pinot noir is a tad better for you than others. Might just be a good place to start anyway. Look for Ville Mt Edam, Pepperwood Grove, and BV Coastal from CA and Joseph Drouhin LaForet from France. |
