I prefer a nice spicy zin. I have had syrahs that also went very well. I find Ozzy's shiraz to be too fruity.

Agree with Swampguy, but try to keep it as light as possible.

I'd throw some garlic in the salsa and go with an 'everyday' Grenache (or Grenache blend) from France or Spain.
