The 23rd Detroit International Wine Auction, one of the nation’s most prestigious and successful auctions, is a weekend of events benefiting the College for Creative Studies. Funds raised at the event will provide students with scholarship opportunities and community outreach programs.

The auction begins with a Winemaker Dinner on Friday, November 5, at 7 p.m. at Tribute Restaurant, in Farmington Hills. Honorary chair Laurent Drouhin, Export Manager, for Maison Joseph Drouhin based in Beaune (Burgundy) and Oregon, will be on hand, at both events, to discuss wine and other matters related to the industry.

A combination auction and dinner is slated for Saturday evening, November 6, at the Renaissance Center, Detroit. Following the event Afterglow reception will allow guest to further discuss the night’s activities. Ticket prices range from $50 - $1,500, depending on the event. The wine auction is sponsored by General Motors. For ticket information contact the College for Creative Studies at 313.664.7464 or email to events@ccscad.edu
