will be visiting Virginia/Maryland/DC area including Charlottesvile, VA. I will attend a Zinfandel tasting at a private home in DC on Sunday. Plan to visit some restaurants with good food and good wine lists and will report back after the trip.

There's a store that I quite like in Charlottesville and it's called Tastings of Charlottesville (ph. 434-293-3663, 500 E. Jefferson St., Suite 305). They're actually part store and part restaurant and wine bar.
I get emails from them and they're often doing something interesting. Perhaps a stop for you?
