You may have noticed the winery's ads on the home page of this website. My friends Sarig Agasi (chef) and Nancy (his wife and the wine selector, bookkeeper, partner, etc.) have a new restaurant in Raleigh. After Butterflies closed they were out of the restaurant business for a couple years but now have Zely & Ritz on Glenwood Avenue. It specializes in tapas (small dishes that can be shared) and a small but select list of wines (also many dishes using organic locally grown produce). They serve lunch on weekdays and dinner. I'm looking forward to trying Gary Farrell Pinot Noir (they have sold out the 2002 Pinot Noir, Russian River Valley at the winery (at $40 a bottle!). We may also be trying their Chardonnay, Merlot and/or Cabernet Sauvignon. Will report back Thursday or Friday.

Have posted on many of Garys' wines WOW. His 02s' were outstanding and reside in the dark, damp, recesses of the weeners' cellar. Have Fun !WW
