I'm off to Raleigh for this charity event held over three days. A dinner at Fearrington (country-type village and restaurant featuring Southern foods) tonight with Peter Wassermann (one 'n' or two?), Becky's son, featuring Burgundy wines. Tomorrow Wine after Dark with the North Carolina Symphony--all participating producers will have wines to taste (maybe not the top of their line but...). Saturday at ll:00 "Port Demystified" at Second Empire Restaurant with light lunch (in an historic Raleigh home). Will report back next week and also on the Pinor Noirs around the world tasting in Bethesda, MD last weekend.
