Searching for wine similar to Yellow Tail Shiraz - Ianoonan - 10-24-2015

Hi!

I love Yellow Tail's Shiraz and it's the only red I drink at the moment. I'm struggling to find other wines that are similar in taste but am starting to feel silly buying the exact same bottle again and again. I love that it's slightly on the sweeter side and beautifully rich.

I'd be so grateful if someone could recommend another wine that is very similar in taste to the Yellow Tail's Shiraz please?

Thank you,
Maria

Hi Maria and welcome to the board. You are one adventurous soul. It took me 5 years before I found Beaulieus' Private Reserve back in the 60s. Most people never find the wine-love they look for. Drink that Aussie sucker till it no longer scratches the wine itch. Then go looking. WW

Haha, love that "drink that Aussie sucker till it no longer scratches the wine itch". I may just follow your advice but being a serious planner (much to my own detriment at times) I fear I'll panic when that day comes and I have no other "go to" wine!

That plan works for me.. Keep on Keepin-On and in the meanwhile try all manner of the grape. You'll find your palate changes and there's always sumpin' out there that fits the new program. Keep us informed with each new discovery. WW
