'10 Monte Antico Toscana IGT - Innkeeper - 05-20-2015
2010 Monte Antico Toscana IGT; primarily Sangiovese (85%), with Cabernet Sauvignon 10% and Merlot 5%. At least they didn't try to pass it off as Chianti as others do. It ran $11.99 in NH Liq Store, and alcohol was 13%. It is full bodied with lush, fruity flavor.
Matched it with penne in our own Italian tomato sauce, and fennelly Italian sausages. Yum!
Wine cost much less years ago, but so did everything else! Highly recommended.
