I think we caught this wine on the beginning of good development curve. Why? This sting's structure was still front and center. Tannins are still there protecting the wine and somewhat hiding it. It is still a fantastic wine. Very typical of the strawberry, violet, tar, anise, leather, truffle and other dark fruits but the most noticesable virtue was the balance. This large wine was in fact very balanced and have a great long finish. I loved it!
