1993 E. Guigal Côte-Rôtie La Mouline - TheEngineer - 11-26-2014

This wine started of tighter and definitely more feminine in the smoothness of the tannins and the attack of the wine. Medium plus bodied, the wine's nose was elegant, moving to secondary and tertiary flavours already, dried fruits, some meats, some spices. But over the four hours we had with this wine, it changed quite a bit, it really fleshed out and while it was still smooth and elegant, there was a lot more density to the wine with some air. I don't have a lot of experience with La Moulines but this one was lovely as far as I was concerned.
