Sea Dog Hazelnut Porter - Innkeeper - 10-26-2014

Brewed in Portland, ME. This beer is one of a kind! Four different malted barleys combine to create a distinctive, full-bodied beer with a roasted nuttiness, uniquely enhanced by a hint of hazelnuts. Smooth and creamy with the nose of the Willamette hop, this porter is a beer style unto itself. It is my go to brew these days.

Tonight we enjoyed it with broiled Kielbasa, potato cakes, and eggplant salad. Yum!

A couple more tonight with smoked St Louis ribs in Tangy BBQ sauce, and tossed salad including newspaper ripened tomatoes from our garden! Yum!

A few more tonight with grilled, yes grilled; over charcoal and mesquite chips, fillet steaks in bacon rasher and a side of a heaping portion of succotash cooked in goose stock and the fat on top! Yum!
