2004 Bollinger La Grande Annee - TheEngineer - 10-16-2014

I tasted both the cuvee and this one side by side and the difference is significant. Not that the cuvee is bad, it is not. Just just that La Grande Annee is just much better, taut, large, lush, full of briocche, nuts, great line of acidity, this is a large wine to match the large scale vintage. Lovely.

Could not resist and pulled another one of these for the Thanksgiving dinner (we really do eat that at dinner time). Just lovely and with all the creamy and buttery things, you really appreciate the acidity in this bubbly.
