2009 Pagodes de Cos in Magnum - TheEngineer - 12-23-2013
What the hey. Friends are over so out came the mags. But I was a bit tentative with this one. I was worried that it would not show well. Indeed I was wrong. I visited the winery and tried but this adn the first label out of barrels. Those were out of this world.
This bottle was not far behind. So vibrante, so juice, so flavourful, jam but not the jamminess, Power and proud of it. Tannins were not even noticeable at this stage of the evolution so dense is the fruit in this wine. Lovely lovely lovely and very very very well made. I will make sure I look to see if I can get my hands on more of this and its big brothers as the auction seasons start.
