What are people's thoughts on pairings for the following two meals?
1) chicken with a black bean and corn salsa (mild/medium)
2) shrimp with a pineapple salsa (medium)
Since the two salsas are so different, I didn't know if they would lend themselves better to two different wines or if one would match well with both of them.

For the first one, look for a Navarra. See http://www.wines.com/ubb2/Forum19/HTML/000135.html

For the second...I'm clueless. Would probably search for a Spanish white, but know nothing about them. (Shrimp and PINEAPPLE?! 'Way over my head.)

1. Agree with hotwine.

2. Riesling spatlese or semi-dry American Riesling.
