Yes, sorry WW, another Sissy white....

But this one is no sissy. This was Didier's last vintage before he passed away. This is a great bottle of wine but it is not very typical Sauvignon Blanc. very little to none of the grassines, cat pee, texture is so ripe, more like a chardonnay in approach, very dense, good flavours, some tropical almost, hint of sweetness, but very well put together and of one piece. it is not cheap but to get a comparable level in burgundy would likely require a larger extraction.

No fear Eng. Over the last month I've softened me stance and would welcome a bottle or so under my pillow. Back home and back to the sabbatical. Enjoy and continue posting. At this stage I enjoy reading about 2-Buck Chuck. WWBig Grin
