A sad day in the Weeners household - winoweenie - 07-15-2013
Our master cat Newman (19 years-old) will leave us in about an hour. This sweet, handsome 4-footed darling has, thru his will to be here, has stayed happy and contented thru the loss of 8 pounds over the last year. I've finally been forced to face the fact that he is now facing pain which I will not allow to happen. He will be sorely missed. WW

So sorry, Verne. Good thing our little Coco can't lose 8 lbs. She weighs only 5 1/2.

Sorry to hear that Verne. Never easy to lose family, even the four legged ones but know that he had a great long life with you.

Dear Verne,
I'm so sorry to hear about Newman. It's amazing that you've had him for 19 years. I know you will miss him terribly but it is good that you are sparing him pointless misery and pain. The cycle of life is so hard to accept when you love....
