1998 Charles de Cazanove Stradivarius - TheEngineer - 01-19-2013

SO good I had to go out and buy a case of this and at this price, my new fav sparkler, though I know it can't continue. This is a QPR alert people. If you can find this in the $40 area, nice buy!

Lovely apple, baked bread, hint of toffey and coffee, good acidity in the structure leaving it rather fresh. good long finish, interesting, minerally, lovely wine that punches well above its weight but ugliest bottle I know of for Champagne.... Thank goodness the stuff inside is amaznig.

Jes glanced at the heading and thought you'd taken up the fiddle. WW

Mike, Where did you get the Cazanove? I don't see them in the Mass Beverage Journal.

I know of at least two stores...the one in Waltham and the one in Allston on the corner.

Found it. It's brought in by Acadia Imports which is owned by Jackson Estates - that would be Jess Jackson even though he's looking at the flowers from the other side.

Opened up another bottle of this along with its rose nv sister. Man does this Champagne sing. Lovely stuff, no change in notes.
