Wow...what a nice night with this in the line up (along with a few other nice ones...)

This is what I love about mature burgs. This specific example i've had before and my notes are exactly the same. perhaps a bit lighter than I expected from a 23 year old bottle from a great year but this is still an outstanding wine. Nose is definitely secondary notes of dried fruits, pu erh tea, frangrant, perfumey, so light and elegant. On the palate, much the same, with the density of favours (which was presented in a light manner) still able to hide the acidity structure somewhat and keep that at bay while you enjoy the tea and dried fruits and other components. Lovely lovely lovely and if you hve any, time to start to consume these.
