approaching civility. getting some secondary thingies and a nice nose showing after 30 in the glass. Should reach full in another 3-5. Nice stuff from a producer that was new to me. 4 lapper finish. WW

Opened another yesterday for a friend who dropped by to happy me and he picked this as he's a real Rhone freakie and like me hadn't had this hummer. For some reason this bottle performed better than the 1st one.(Company?) He left fat and happy and I just stayed fat and thirsty. Just noticed this is their Vielles Vignes bottling..whatever the debbil that be. WW

"Old vines", said to produce smaller berries with more concentrated flavor than young vines can muster.

Where's Thomas? IK?

Concur, Hotwine, concur.

WW doesn't speak a foreign language; he just types in one!

Opened another for lunch yesterday and this sucker just keeps on keepin' on. Nose really coming on. Entry still has some speed bumps but the finish is longer than my bucket list. Wish (as usual) I had meeny more. WWTongue

O[/i]pened one of the 3 I retained and am BERRY,BERRY glad I did. Lovely tertiary accents and about as massive as a mature CDP can be. Will nurture the last 2 bottles of this lovely as long as my will-power holds. WW
