Had oldest grandson and his love over and as he (and later I found out she) Is really into the grape decided 'twere time to delve into some of Toms' more exotic bottlings. The OVR was clear ruby. The aromatics took 15 minutes then did a Swan Lake and pirouetted outa' the Reidels. Great mouthfeel. Soft yet assertive like CB. Close to the classic 5-lapper but fell just short. The Estate was nothing to throw down the terlit. Fell just a 1/2 tad short in the aromatics and finish. By its' very-own-self wpould have been keen but Tom doesn't mislabel hims' juice. Preceeded these two with a killer 2 bottles of Franck Pascals' Brut Nature "Sagesse" bubblies. Consisting of 96% of 2006 vintage this is a must buy for you champagne lovers. Made with Zero dosage this bottling consists of 57% Pinot Muenier, 36% Pinot Noir, and 7% Chardonnay. Good stuff and Developing Swimmingly. WW

Opened anothe OVR yesterday for lunch. Nose exploded from the glass. !st sip coated my mouth and never could shake that sucker. Persistant, nagging feeling that this was a special bottle of juice. Unfortunately (or fortunately) I was with CB and noone else had the pleasure. Al-so-tive-a-ly KILLER stuff. WW
