In the category of "I should've bought more" for a while, suppliers were dumping this wine in the are of $60 a bottle. I should've bought more. While not a GREAT CDP, this is still a very good wine. Berries, raspberries, lush and ripe, spicy, peppery, minerally, vanilla, there is plenty going on but it remains an attractive wine. Lots of stuffing to stay relevant for years to come but approachable now with a good double decant. Texture is smooth but with a deep ripe fruit matching against some brighter fruit components, keeping it fresh.
