Interesting wine. Not cheap at $420 for three but interesting. Intense and big no doubt but with good attributes of cedar, tobacco, tannic (sample bottle I tried was opened a day ago), and decent freshness. It seems to be approacheable but points to better days to come but how long? Not sure. The first of many impressive 09's that I can't seem to get a read on.
Gent's anyone out there with their impressions of the 09 vintage? Seems rather mixed for me. Some great wines some great misses, but with the best of wines I'm not sure they are built for the ages or are they? The good ones feel very left bank for me, like a nice St. Julien, full of stuffing but can go for the distance.

WW: Ah apprentice it get my heart flutterin you've the moxie to recognize Joes' Anniversay Label Marthas from that distance. Now Grasshopper tell IK that I mentioned to you that the Nose and Flavor are developing nicely. WW!!!!!
