- winoweenie - 11-11-2011 Lunch yesterday at a BYOB jernt with one of my oldest and dearst buds who I broke into drinking wine with a 70 BV Reserve so I always take one whenebber we get together for lunch. Typical BVs and each did a great job of fulfilling their niche. The Ruther was true to its' heritage and the Reserve simply kicked-patootie. Neat time had by all. WW RE: 2002 BV Reserve & 2002 Rutherford - winoweenie - 07-31-2013 Opened a Pvt. Res for lunch today. The 02s' are really underappreciated. Great depth, lovely aromatics and a finish that goes on like the energizer bunny. One whale of a neat bottle that still has layers of soft tannins that will let this baby improve for the next 6-8.
