Sparky Marquis , his wife and lovely Mother at the club yesterday. I normally avoid large group tastings especially when the juice is free because you always have 1 or 2 obnoxious characters that know more about the wines than the winemakers. We were blessed that none of them made it that I noticed. Must say the 2010 cab is immenintly drikable and was balanced and had the elements to do some ageing as eas the Syrah. Nice wines that will find a place in the cellar today. WW

Ok Verne, you're scaring me now writing that you liked the Mollydooker wines. Have they changed the over the top, goopy style? He is, was, a fabulous winemaker at Fox Creek and the early MP wines.

The 2 2010 dudes were vey balanced wines with balance acidity, and nice tannins but had good fruit. I was surprised as the blazes me very-own-self but unless him put in ringers these are keen bottles. WW
