Cabernet, Shiraz, Merlot blend from Columbia Valley. Opened it up last night at a homebase tasting. This wine was fantastic drinking well right now, but certainly has about 4-5 years more of optimal drinking. Vanilla, oak, slight cassis and some well integrated tannins deliver texture, acidity and a harmonious finish. I was very impressed. :-P

When Vanilla, oak, slight cassis are the most notable characteristics, it is not my kind of wine.
