- Drew - 07-23-2011 Here's a QPR, IMHO. Produced from grapes selected from vineyards in these three counties: Sonoma County 60%, Mendocino County 22% and Santa Barbara County 18%. Screw top bottle. Nose of cherry and asian spice. Flavors of ripe plum, blackberry, cherry with spice. Fresh, rich ripe flavors of black cherry, cola and plum layered with a touch of raspberry and vanilla. 13.9% Alc/vol. $15. Paired with a spicy, pan sauted Grouper filet with sliced tomato and potato salad on the first day at the beach which was 98 here but hit 104 on the way down. - winoweenie - 07-23-2011 Sounds like 'twould fit nicely into me old daily drinker catagory. It's 10 to 1 it's not available here tho. WW |
