This is one tight wine right now. Ultrafocused...we decanted it.

Very pure focused wine, green apple, some floral and mineral notes, nice texture running between smooth but always noticing tha acidity cutting through it. It is a very nice bottle but I suspect it needs some time in the bottle to smooth things out. I will put my remaining bottles away and revisit in a few years.

I received an e-mail about a good price on some Moreau Chablis--not sure if it was the 2008 or the 2009. I marked it for a possible order but decided I had purchased too much wine recently including Chablis from Gueguen and one bottle of Dauvissat. Now that it is getting too hot to ship to North Carolina it will make it easier to scale back my purchasing until October.
