This S.A. Prum Essence Riesling is only a steal deal if you like your white wines slightly sweet. Categorized as a Qualitatswein, this is 11% alcohol by volume and has a screwcap. Straw color. Crisp, citrusy notes. Easy-drinking wine that does encapsulate some of the "essence" of Mosel Riesling and is usually priced between $9.00 and $13.00. I would rate it somewhere in the 80's. I like it better than some of the other Rieslings I've tried in the same price range that are made to appeal to the broader market.

I would agree with that one especially around that price. Another one in that same price range is the St urbans hof QBA

I have had them both. The Prum is good (mid-80s), but the St. Urbans Hof is very good (high 80s). Of course, the latter is $3-5 more.

Perfect weather for them now!
