2004 Trapiche, Oak Cask, Cabernet Sauvignon, Mendoza ($10.99 NH Liq Store). Alcohol level: 13.5%. A very nice everyday drinker. Beautiful purple color; it gives you cherries and black current on the nose and upfront like a good little Cab should. It gives more fruit with hints of tobacco and smoke, along with soft tannin in the middle. Nice finish.

Matched it with grilled loin ends Teriyaki, brown Basmati rice, and spinach. Not bad for a Monday night.

Popped one of two '06s we picked up recently last night. We got them on sale for $9.99 (reg. $11.99). Alcohol level is the same.

Wine pretty much the same too. It is a reliable easy drinker. Matched it with shell steaks that we cooked in our newly found sear and roast method, baked potatoes, and sauteed green beans. All made for a yummy Saturday night.
