I won a bottle of wine in a raffle. I am thinking of giving it to a freind, but would like to know if it good and what it might be worth?

Hi Lake>>>. and welcome to the board. Not familiar at all with Paradis but very familiar with the 75 vintage. After 4 disasterous vintages the French were ready to declare any mediocre vintage as great. That's what happened with 75. I, among many others, was caught up in the hype and purchased lots of juice from this " Wine of the Decade. 'Twernt so. Outside of the La Mission, I finally gave up on those tannic monsters and got rid of 'em. No registar of this vineyard on the auction charts, so as usual I suggest inviting a friend over, put a good bottle in reserve, open that thang up and hope! WW
