Hi there!!
My parents recieved a bottle of Douglas Green of Paarl cabernet Sauvignon 1980. (south Africa)
The bottle has some sort of 'superior certified' number on the neck. KS008, and 657840.
Does this wine have any value..any information will be greatly appeciated.

I don't know much about South African wines but would surmise that it may be over-the-hill by now. Single bottles have limited market value anyway, especially if you are unable to prove that they have been stored under optimum conditions since bottling. I would be inclined to open it for dinner sometime and have a backup bottle ready incase it is on the downhill slope. Sorry.
