Just got around to reading this issue. For all of my friends up East, please refrain from perusing the " Great Resorts in Phoenix " article. As with their tasting notes, the resorts are homoginized versions of what they perceive to be the gems in the desert. With the exception of the Grand Dame, the Biltmore, I never reccommend any of their choices to friends coming here, and the restaurants, with the exception of the Marquessa in the Princess, doesn't get one peso of my dining-out funds. But the pitchurs be pretty and I'm sure are comforting to all of you snow-bound fellers looking for any type of escape. Our forecast for today is under average temps of 68. bbbrrrrrr!ww (giggle-snort)

WW, the snow-bound ones would probably get their revenge on us both with a boxcar-load of brown slush, if they could figure out a way to get it to Arizona and Texas. But since they can't..... he, he.

hey Hotwine, who says we can't??? hmmmm..... WD

- hotwine - 02-19-2003

Hmmmm... Can it be used for fertilizer, WD? Got a hay field needs a little help.

- winedope1 - 02-20-2003

sorry Hotwine- the only stuff currently available to me wouldn't be of much use. Dog and cat is not good fertilizer. Since I don't have access to horse right now (and you probably do), I can't be of much help. However, it might smell interesting by the time it made the trip across the country... ; ) WD

Nope, don't have any horses. They eat too much, and what they don't eat, they trample. Have plenty of cow-piles, but no road apples.

- winedope1 - 02-20-2003

makes me miss my cows, Hotwine. Took up with horse because the Holsteins objected to being ridden. Now I don't have time for either- cows or horses, that is.

- winoweenie - 02-21-2003

My cats object too.WW

- winedope1 - 02-21-2003

WW- how big are your cats and who's tryin to ride 'em?

- winoweenie - 02-22-2003

Our 7-year-old male, Newman, weighs 17 lbs but is so lazy all he wants is lap time. The 8-year-old female, Socksie, weighs 6 pounds and is too fast and smart to be corralled. They let us live here in relative comfort how-be-it! WW

You adults are so funny... *laughs hysterically* Hey, do you think I can do a science fair project on wine!? Heh heh... I don't think they'd go too much for that... Maybe I can see the affect of wine on a cat!? Heh heh... JUST KIDDING! I wouldn't do that to my poor cat...

I asked them if I could do a project using wine... And, of course, they said no... That just ain't right! Oh well...
