I know there are a lot of veterans here on the board, and I found a site for a restaurant that's offering a free meal for vets on 11 Nov. Here's part of the clip:

"Golden Corral and the Disabled American Veterans are joining forces nationwide for the second year in a row to honor our nation's heroes with Military Appreciation Night 2002 on Monday, November 11, from 5 to 9 p.m with a free dine-in buffet and beverage.

Golden Corral restaurants extend this offer to all veterans and retired and active duty military personnel. It is also extended to members of the U.S. Reserves and the National Guard. All that is required is to state your military status when going through the ordering line."

You can get more info and locations at their web site - www.goldencorral.com. From those of us who didn't serve our country in the military, our thanks and appreciation to all of you who did.

An extremely nice gesture. I'll see if it's transferrable to the Biltmore here in Phoenix. WW
