You're right, WD. It was probably an old broomtailed nag.

Agree, I was going to suggest cat, but they are probably made of horse.

If you were going to eat hamburgers in France, I don't really know what you were thinking anyway ... take advantage of the finest cuisine in the world while you are here, GAD. Will you be in Paris? I have restaurant recommendations, should you need them. And like someone already posted, when you're in France just buy a whole bunch of good French wine to bring back. Surprisingly, supermarkets occasionally have excellent deals on bottles from good producers. Don't hesitate to check out the selection in a Monoprix, for example. There's another one whose name is escaping me right now ... starts with an 'I' and it's three or four letters ... well I'll post again if I remember it. Anyway, wrap the bottles carefully for the flight home, and yes, bring an extra suitcase! Don't forgot that you have to check bags with bottles now, on most airlines.

Regarding London food, I don't really agree that it's a "great food city," but it's definitely true that there are some interesting options. Nowhere else in the Western world can you find better Indian food, for example.

Uh, I rather like horse -- but I also run into door lintels. It's the mystery meat that I've often found in North African restaurants in France.

Maybe I should brown bag it. LOL.

Rodney, I've tried emailing you a couple of times but it's getting rejected. Are you still at the same email address?

Hey Joe, I had to change it. Just add a 1 before the @ and it will go through.
