We're talking August, 2005

- Kcwhippet - 05-19-2004

Count us in for that one. If it's hot, that's fine, especially with WW. All he wore was shorts anyway.

- Georgie - 05-19-2004

and those legs were cute! If we go to the west coast, August of 2005 would be ideal for me as well. My only other possible time would be over spring recess which will be 3/25-4/3.

- Innkeeper - 05-19-2004

July or the first three weeks in August are best for us. We celebrate our anniversary on Grand Manan and if don't make our reservation for next year when we go this August, we won't be able to get one for future years. It is a land of 99.9% return guests, and very tough to break into. To be on the safe side we will try to line up 24-25-26 for '05. The 24th is the big day.

The bottom line is we want to go to Washington in '05!!!

- hotwine - 05-19-2004

We'll vote for August. Don't have another daughter so there won't be another wedding to plan around. Just maybe.... ARGH! a grandbaby???? We'll hope not.... yet.

- Georgie - 05-19-2004

Yee-haw! Hotwine's a-comin'!

- hotwine - 05-19-2004

Here's hopin'. (Had planned to attend the recent one, too....)

- Georgie - 05-19-2004

Oh no....we will not accept any lame excuses next year! Think positive thoughts only!

- chittychattykathy - 05-19-2004

Sounds like August 2005 is a winner so far. Gives us plenty of time to organize!

- Kcwhippet - 05-19-2004

Hey, cg. Just thought I'd let you know something. The 2002 ROAR Rosella's that just about everybody thought was a killer PN is available at B&B Wine Merchant in Roseville and Folsom. You should try one.

August '05 in WA is fine with Anne and me. Of course, like I already said, it could be January in International Falls, Minnesota for all I care -- we're going no matter what

- chittychattykathy - 05-19-2004

So, shall we wait until we get a little closer to set the dates, or just go for it now? Maybe I can add it to my palm to mention it again in September or October?

BTW
CG-- You are still welcome to bring the hubbie and visit this fall if you want. I'll know my dates for the harvest party by August.

- californiagirl - 05-19-2004

Thanks CCK- will know hubbie's shift in first part of July... as for Aug 2005, that's 3 shift rotations away.... I'll keep my fingers crossed!

KC- wrote down the ROAR. I'll look for it. Never been to that wine shop before.

If I'm not there the only comical relief will be looking at you in your shorts. Every Flamingo at Hialeah will be jealous. WW

Sister: cheese? cheese? what cheese? I didn't get any...

By the way, ww, I have tried your cell phone three times--can't get through. Pay your bill!

August 2005--so far away. Will mark my calendar, and cancel the annual physical...

Ok...I made a reservation at Glenora for 9/16&17 and maybe 18 if they get a cancellation. I have off for Rosh Hashanah and it's the Leaves and Lobster Festival at Gene's! How great does THAT sound?

- Innkeeper - 05-20-2004

Georgie, maybe you could do Cooperstown on the 18th & 19th.

- Georgie - 05-21-2004

Right! and we didn't get to the Corning Museum either. Sounds like a plan!

- Sisterdear - 05-21-2004

UMMM-there was cheese-lots of cheese. Gee I hope someone else got to eat cheese beside me. That's embarrassing! One of them was something that sounds like More Beer (that's how I'm remebering it) Hubbydear and I drank the Vignoles last night that I brought home from Anthony Road. It was not cold enough but he still liked it. I told him that it was much nicer when it was ice cold at about 11AM Saturday morning. He just shook his head and muttered something about drinking at 11AM. I chose not to tell him that that was the 2nd winery of the morning!
