I recently got a hold of JR's Dec 2 column in the Financial Times. She reports on and analyzes the USA wine market.

Aside from terrible journalistic writing (subject-verb confusion, passive voice) the article is a good read that points out the sorry state of our wine industry and wine consumption.

leave you dangling...now that is a tempting concept!

I suppose you can look it up Bucko!

Generally, she beat up on our cultural desire to make wine an investment commodity rather than a daily staple. She also was unforgiving of our governmental interventions and regulations that go against leading Americans toward wine consumption. She did, however, say wonderful things regarding East Coast wines--score again Glenora!

Dutton and ww, thems are da things she says, but I says thems mutch betta.
