BTW, I happen to know at least one person with two loggins.....one is called TheEngineer and the other is called TheEngII. - winoweenie - 10-07-2005 Ennythin' to skew the numburz. WW [This message has been edited by winoweenie (edited 10-08-2005).] - Jackie - 10-08-2005 I think we should definitely plan something special for 10,000 registered members (even if there are a few duplicates -- I don't think there are many). I'm willing to spring for something nice from the WINES.COM Wine Lovers' Gift Shop. Any suggestions? Other ideas? Jackie - winoweenie - 10-08-2005 I'd be more than happy to kick in a bottle from Buckos, I mean my limited collection to the offender. Keep me posted. WW - TheEngineer - 11-06-2005 41 more to go! - wondersofwine - 11-07-2005 A decanter is a suggestion if shipping wine across state lines is a problem. - Georgie - 11-16-2005 only 8 away! - TheEngineer - 11-17-2005 Jackie??? Should we start filling balloons?? - winoweenie - 11-17-2005 A good stent is preferable. Ast ole' KC. WW - Bucko - 11-19-2005 Hit 10,000 as you all nap. I felt no earthquake... - winoweenie - 11-19-2005 I thot it was just gas. WW - TheEngineer - 11-19-2005 I was upwind so I didn't notice - Jackie - 11-20-2005 The counter at the top of the page shows 1004 right now but the files that hold membership information are only at 9997. If I count back four (1004 -4) and look at member 9993, that person's UserName is BioTeacher. BioTeacher signed up but did not post a message. Maybe we were too intimidating but I prefer to think that he/she found what they were looking for and will come back to participate in the future. We can call BioTeacher member #10,000 or we can go with the system files and wait for 3 more members.... This might be someone who actually leaves a message.... We have a few "prizes" lined up for that lucky person. Can I get your take on this y'all? Thanks, Jackie - wondersofwine - 11-20-2005 If BioTeacher doesn't respond within five days, I say go with the system files. - brappy - 11-20-2005 Bio Teacher just posted. - TheEngineer - 11-20-2005 Webcounter is fine by me. I've always like Biology teachers anyways!!! - Jackie - 11-23-2005 Brappy, Where did BioTeacher post?? I can't find it using Search. J. - brappy - 11-23-2005 For the Novice or whatever it's called. He posted the same day you posted for him to post. And then he posted another question in the same thread topic. So, what did he win? I'm willing to throw something in. I had beer tonight mixed in with some shots. Way too much for me to handle these days. Anyway, hope I answered your question. mark |
