Think most of my early company has been here and gone SO....Back to a sabattical. From the looks of the postings lately looks like mosta' youse guys have quit drinkin' too. Hopefully the IK and Buckinheimer will return and Drew will be let out of the house.
Know most of my posts aren't too relevant for most of you, but I drink reds, think reds, and luckily have a bunch of older cellared wines. I don't post everything we drink because most are way past availability.
If you run into an older wine from Calif from any vintage from 68 on, or Bordeaux from the 82, 88, or 89 vintages, ask and maybe I can help. WW

Howd you guess??? I got wallpaper falling around me and spiders trying to grab me for food (not to mention the daily STICK PATROLS and LEAF BLOWING....that's what you get for living in the woods, not complainig though) Between house chores and the Beltway Sniper, not to mention the continuing murder sprees in good ole Baltimore. Been too busy to drink.

WD1 there are so many super bottlings from Calif in the 99 releases that I'll just name a few. Stags Leap WC " Napa ", Pine Ridge " SLD ", Shafer " Napa " all are, IMHO, great wines that drink well now and will reward the patient. Drew, sounds to me like you NEED
a bottle or 3 to get you thru the day. I have a family of friendly black widows that keep the insect population in check. WW Kat girl, we need your expertise more than ebber nows.

Sounds to me, Drew, you have many reasons to drink more wine!

Unlike the ww, I do not discriminate against wine--I drink and love it in all its colors, knowing that there is a menu to match. Come to think of it, before I got married I had the same attitude toward...but that was a long time ago.

thanks as always, WW. I'll let you know if the special selection works its magic. Foodie- oink oink!!! WD
