I have 4 bottles of chateau mouton rothchild 1979 wine-- what is the value

1979 from this producer was pretty average, not one of their better efforts. It would hold limited value to me, but some collector may pay for the label....

It can be bought on-line at winesearcher.com for as low as $125 per bottle from a reputable merchant. You would likely be hardpressed to get that much for it, unless you can guarentee that the wine has been properly stored. Hope this helps.

winecollector points out the obvious when he refers to storage. Generally, collector wines are worthless when coming from non-cllectors because the wines are often stored without care. I do not believe there is a market for your 4 bottles, unless you can guarantee proper storage--on paper.
