- joeyz6 - 02-16-2003 Finally got around to posting some of my tasting notes from my time over here. They're not pro quality but I hope they help a little. I have no idea about the US distribution of any of the wines, so I can't help there. Also, prices are listed in euros, so I guess you can figure double that if they are to be found back home. (As a beginner I don't mind constructive criticism of my tasting notes; don't hesitate to mention it if I didn't describe something well, or if you have any suggestions or comments. I appreciate the help ) -Joe - Innkeeper - 02-16-2003 Great job Joe. Sounds like you are really getting around over there. - Drew - 02-16-2003 Your tasting notes are great! Keep em comming. Drew - hotwine - 02-16-2003 I'll second or third that. Love 'em! Keep 'em comin'! And thanks for going to the trouble to remember, write and post 'em. - Thomas - 02-16-2003 Great tasting notes joeyz; time for you to ease out of the novice state of mind... - joeyz6 - 02-16-2003 Well thanks for the encouragement! It was more than I was anticipating. In any case I will, of course, continue to post notes; it is my pleasure to share them (it's the very least I could do in return for the invaluable aide I've received here). And I'm still open to constructive criticism, should you have any. I'm heading south tomorrow for a week, hoping to go tasting in Banyuls and Collioure, at least. Will report on any good ones I find down there. - Innkeeper - 02-27-2003 Another great job Joe. You are getting to be a real pro! |
