- hvac - 07-27-2002 I have a bottle of 1986 pinot noir bottled by Far Niente Winery Oakville Ca. Could you please tell me how much this bottle is worth. Thank You - Bucko - 07-27-2002 Not much, if it is drinkable at all. Pull the cork and have a back-up bottle available. Cheers, Bucko - winoweenie - 08-01-2002 Hvac to just go a bit further. The pinots made in Calif, even by the top-end producers, are not like their counter-parts in Burgandy that have tremendous aging potential. It's best to drink them 5 years from the vintage date and even the best no longer than 8 years. Bucko tolt' you like it be. The wine is probably dead and except for the pretty lable, not worth much.
